PathAu · UK

Terms and refunds

The short version: before you pay, the app shows the deals your settings would have caught in the last 7 days. PathAu Live is £10 a month or £96 a year; PathAu Pro is £25 a month or £240 a year. Our Discord server is free. You can cancel a plan at any time in the app. If you change your mind within 14 days of your first payment, you get your money back for the days you didn't use. We show estimates, and we don't promise profit.

Last updated 26 October 2026 (no free days for new sign-ups: you see your last 7 days before you pay; new accounts sign in with Google).

Who we are

PathAu (the web app at pathau.co.uk/app, the Telegram bot @pathau_bot and this website) is run by Artem Kulyk, a sole trader.

Address: Main Street, Clydeview 1/1, Inverkip, PA16 0AT, Scotland, United Kingdom.
Email: support@pathau.co.uk.

In these terms, "we" and "us" means Artem Kulyk trading as PathAu, and "you" means the person using PathAu.

What you get

PathAu Live covers: alerts about new listings of PCs and PC parts on the marketplaces we scan for every plan (currently eBay UK, Gumtree and Vinted) that clear the bar you set. Each alert shows how much under value it is in pounds (what the parts are worth minus the price) and is rated a Great, Good or Fair deal by what you would keep after your own selling fees and postage: Great is at least £80 and 30% of the price (or £50 and 60%), Good at least £30 and 20% (or £20 and 40%), Fair is the rest that clears your settings. The part-by-part breakdown and what you'd keep after your costs come with PathAu Pro. Alerts reach you in the web app and, if you connect them, as phone notifications, in Telegram and in Discord. Three watchlists, the inventory and your settings are included.

PathAu Pro (£25 a month or £240 a year) includes everything in PathAu Live, plus: Facebook Marketplace listings near you, the price of every part, the profit calculator with your fees and tax, alerts tuned to your own price (minimum profit and return, lowest and highest price for each category) and to the hardware you pick (GPU series and kinds of machine), 5 watchlists and the other Pro features on our plans. Features marked "soon" there are not part of what you pay for until they work.

Facebook Marketplace (Pro). We search Facebook Marketplace around the postcode you give us, up to about 40 miles; without a postcode there are no Facebook alerts. Facebook doesn't offer a public way to do this, so it is the part of PathAu most likely to slow down or stop if Facebook changes something (see what we don't promise). Prices that look too good to be true are flagged in the alert.

Vinted. Vinted alerts cover desktop PCs and graphics cards. The price we show is what you would pay: the item price plus Vinted's buyer protection fee and the postage shown on the listing.

How many deals turn up depends on your settings, your area and the day. We can't promise any particular number of alerts.

Before you pay. When you finish setting up, the app shows how many deals your settings would have caught in the last 7 days, one of them in full and a few that are listed right now. Nothing is charged, because we don't have your card. Live alerts start when you pick a plan. There is no free plan; our Discord server has free deal feeds, 20 minutes after members get them. Free days for new sign-ups ended on 26 October 2026; free days that started before then run as agreed.

Price and billing

  • PathAu Live costs £10 a month, or £96 a year if you choose yearly; PathAu Pro costs £25 a month or £240 a year. You subscribe in the app, on Stripe's page, and the first payment is taken when you subscribe. If you started free days before 26 October 2026 and subscribe while more than two of them are left, the first payment is taken when they end.
  • Free days (before 26 October 2026) were one per person. To stop the same person taking them again and again, we check whether this account, email address, Telegram account, device or internet connection (in the last 30 days) has had free days before (see the privacy policy). If it has, there are no free days and a plan starts when you subscribe. If, during your free days, you connect a Telegram account that has already had them on another account, the free days end at once, and we tell you.
  • You can switch between PathAu Live and PathAu Pro in the app at any time; Stripe adjusts the charge for the rest of the month or year you've paid for.
  • Prices are in pounds sterling. We are not VAT-registered, so no VAT is added.
  • Payment is taken by Stripe on a secure Stripe page. We never see or store your card number.
  • You pay in advance, monthly or yearly: the first payment as described above, and after that on the same date each month or each year, until you cancel.
  • If we change the price, we will tell you in the app and by the channels you use at least 30 days before your first payment at the new price. You can cancel before then.
  • If a payment fails, Stripe tries again for a few days. If it still fails, the subscription ends and live alerts stop.

Cancelling

You can cancel a plan at any time. In the app, open Plan and press Cancel (the bot's 💳 Plan button opens the same page). Or email us and we'll cancel it for you. You won't be charged again. If you cancel before your first payment is taken, you pay nothing. Otherwise alerts carry on until the end of the month or year you've already paid for, then stop; your settings and watchlists are kept in case you come back.

If you delete your account (Delete account in the app's Settings, or /delete_me in the bot), we cancel your subscription straight away and don't charge you again.

PathAu Build

PathAu Build is for buying parts or a PC for yourself. You choose up to 2 parts (PathAu Build, £5) or up to 5 parts and whole PCs (PathAu Full build, £15), each with the most you would pay, and we alert you when a listing on eBay UK, Gumtree and Vinted matches. It is one payment for 30 days. Nothing renews by itself, and there are no free days for Build.

  • Need more parts? £10 moves Build to Full build for 30 days from the day you pay.
  • Finish the hunt: £5 for 30 more days for the parts you haven't found.
  • Our promise: if no listing matched any of your parts during your 30 days, you can start another 30 days free, once. Set your prices close to what parts actually sell for — the app shows it.
  • Your 14 days. Build starts straight away at your request. If you change your mind within 14 days of paying, we refund the payment minus the days you already had — for example 27/30 after 3 days.
  • We can't promise that a seller will list what you want at your price. “Usually” prices are medians of used sales in the UK.

Refunds and your 14 days

Your right to cancel. UK consumer law gives you 14 days from your first payment to change your mind. When you subscribe, you ask us to start straight away, so alerts begin at once. If you cancel within those 14 days, we refund your first payment minus the value of the days you already had. For example, if you cancel after 3 days of a 30-day month, you get back 27/30 of what you paid; after 3 days of a yearly plan, 362/365.

To use this right, email support@pathau.co.uk from the email you sign in with (or with your Telegram username) and a line saying you want to cancel. You don't have to use any particular form or give a reason. We refund within 14 days of hearing from you, to the card you paid with.

After 14 days, cancelling stops future payments, but we don't refund the part of a month or year that has already started.

If we get it wrong. If PathAu doesn't work because of something on our side, tell us. We'll put it right or refund you fairly for the time it didn't work. None of this affects your statutory rights.

What we don't promise

  • Estimates are estimates. Resale values come from UK sold prices we collect, and they can be out of date or wrong. A listing can be misdescribed, already sold, or a scam. Always check the listing and the item before you pay.
  • We don't give advice and we don't buy for you. Every purchase is between you and the seller, under the rules of eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree or Vinted. Deciding to buy is up to you.
  • Local deals mean meeting strangers. Meet in a public place, check the item before you pay, and follow the marketplace's own safety advice.
  • Tax is yours. If you resell for profit, the tax that applies is your responsibility. The tax setting in PathAu only helps with the maths.
  • Other services can change. We rely on eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, Vinted, Telegram and our other suppliers. If one of them changes or blocks access, some alerts may slow down or stop. If that happens to a marketplace for more than a few days, we'll tell you in the app, and you can cancel and ask for a refund for the time it didn't work.

PathAu is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by eBay, Meta (Facebook), Gumtree, Vinted or Telegram.

Fair use

Alerts are for your own buying. Forwarding one to a friend now and then is fine. Republishing our alerts as a feed, a channel or a service of your own is not allowed, and neither is scraping or automating the app or the bot. If an account breaks these rules, or is used to harm other people, we may suspend or close it. If we close a paid account and it wasn't your fault, we refund the unused part of the month.

Our responsibility

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses we couldn't reasonably have foreseen, for what happens in a deal between you and a seller, or for decisions you make based on an estimate.

If you use PathAu for a business, we are not liable for loss of profit, business or opportunity. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Changes, complaints and law

If we change these terms in a way that matters to subscribers, we'll tell you in the app at least 30 days in advance. If you don't agree, you can cancel before the change takes effect.

If something is wrong, email support@pathau.co.uk and we'll try to sort it out. We aim to reply within 5 working days.

These terms are governed by the law of Scotland. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can also bring a claim in the courts where you live, and the mandatory consumer protections of that part of the UK still apply to you.
